A burglary
occurs
every 14 seconds
in the United States. Without a security system your home, family and
possessions are vulnerable to burglars. A monitored alarm system will
give you peace of mind. You will know that both the authorities and you will
be notified in the event of a burglary. Add to this, a camera surveillance
system with remote access and you'll be able to check in on your home or
business and see what is going on in the event of an emergency while you are
away.

Our network cabling technicians can install and test demarc extensions, data
center cabling, computer network cabling, and telephone system wiring.
Depending on the job specifications, we use various types of cable . For
networking applications CAT5e, or CAT6 may be used. CAT5e is a cable that
allows voice or data or video transmission. CAT5E will give you far more
versatility with your existing wiring in the future. Each location will have
the potential to function as a computer network connection, a telephone
jack, or a video feed.
Speakers for a home theater or a multi-room distributed audio
system are typically wired with 16 gauge speaker wire. HDMI cables or RGB
component
cables are normally used to connect TVs and video components to ensure a high
quality picture is delivered to a High Definition Television.
Cat5e or
Cat6 ?
One frequently asked question is "Do I need CAT6 or will more economical
CAT5e be sufficient for my needs?"
Many people incorrectly assume that by running Cat6 they will then have a
better, faster, more reliable, gigabit network. This assumption misses the
real point in choosing CAT6 over CAT5e. In order to achieve true gigabit
network speeds, all components on a network must be gigabit rated, this
includes all switches, hubs and the computer network interface cards. Cat5e
wiring does support speeds of 10 mbps, 100 mbps, and gigabit network speeds.
The difference is that Cat6 wiring is
"certified" to handle gigabit network speeds. Cat6 wiring will perform
better in environments that are considered unfriendly to twisted pair
cabling. This would include structures that, by the nature of the building
and business, have the potential for interference with the data transmission
on a twisted pair wire. This would include equipment such as high voltage
power lines, lighting, and factory or manufacturing equipment, etc... For
most applications, Cat5e is perfectly suitable and may be preferable to Cat6
due to it's more economical cost.
